100 kites to fly over Quang Nam
VOV.VN - As many as 100 kites created by artisans from 10 countries will be on display at the International Kite Festival 2024 from July 25 to July 28 in the central province of Quang Nam, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Nguyen Thanh Hong, director of the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism revealed that the locality has co-ordinated with Hoiana Resort & Golf with the ultimate aim of providing visitors with new and exciting experiences.
The festival brings together international kite teams from 10 countries and territories such as China, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Australia.
Craftsmen from various teams will demonstrate their kite-flying skills in a colourful space at the beach next to Hoiana resort in Tay Son Tay village of Duy Hai commune in Duy Xuyen district
The highlight of the festival will be a programme which will see the release of sparkling LED kites every evening.
In particular, the night of July 27 will see a music festival held with the participation of many popular local and foreign artists.
Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in kite-making classes, explore local cuisine, enjoy magic shows alongside fire dance performances during the event.
