The Ministry of Culture and Information has assigned the Performing Art Department to build a scenario and an art performance programme for Gala Dinner in service of the upcoming the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) 2006, which will be held from November 12-19 in Vietnam.
The scenario with various art performances imbued with traditional cultural identities will be completed in April.
The programme is expected to be on stage in Hanoi on November 18.
The Ministry has also asked the Vietnam Cinematography Department in collaboration with the International Co-operation Department to produce three advertising films about Vietnam and the year of APEC.
