Motor Show 2012 promotes local automobile market

• Motor show attracts well-known trademarks

• Clear-cut policies needed to rescue automobile market

The event, the eight of its kind in Vietnam, has attracted 13 famous domestic and international automobile brands, including Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Honda, Porsche, Luxgen, Mitsubishi, Renault, Suzuki, Toyota, Vinaxuki, and Land Rover.

During the five-day show, a seminar has been scheduled to discuss potential measures to encourage the Vietnamese automobile market’s continued development. Organisers hope to create a venue for local and foreign businesses wishing to share information and seek investment opportunities.

As well as seeing the industry’s most recent innovations, visitors to the show will enjoy music and dance performances, celebrity appearances, and even opportunities for driving trials.
