Through the programme, Viettel has delivered 200 landline telephones with VND600,000 in every account. The corporation has also handed over 300 presents valued VND60 million to units of border guards, schools in remote areas and has provided 500 phone cards, worth VND100,000 each, to a number of soldiers and teachers.
Viettel has spent VND4.5 billion launching its Tet programme throughout the country. In particular, the corporation plans to give presents to 44,000 individuals, including servicemen who defend the country’s border or its islands and wounded soldiers, teachers in remote areas and children in SOS villages if they are away from home during the Tet holidays.
3,000 presents, valued nearly VND1 billion, will also be sent all to the poor to welcome the Lunar New Year.
