HCM City accompanies businesses
VOV.VN - Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City on June 3 held a meeting with businesspeople to collect their opinions on the implementation of the government’s resolution No.35 on supporting and developing businesses until 2020.

The meeting also focused on devising a plan to actualize the Government’s resolution on business support and development until 2020.
Chairman of HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong said the city has always accompanied business, listened to their opinions, and promptly resolve their problems.
Along with boosting administrative reform, the city will continue developing the e-government system, installing hotlines to all departments and district People’s Committees, and optimising the online portal to dialogue with people and businesses, he said.
The resolution, issued on May 16 this year, covers five major tasks:reforming the administrative system to create favourable conditions for businesses, making a good environment for startups, ensuring business rights and equal opportunities to access resources and business chances, reducing cost for enterprises, and protecting their legitimate rights and interests.
Ho Chi Minh City is targeting to increase the number of enterprises to 500,000 by 2020.
The target is feasible to the city which plays a role of the driving force for the country’s economy, said Dinh La Thang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee at the meeting.
HCM City will continue to offer more favorable conditions for businesses, adding that the city will build a database to facilitate administrative procedures, Thang added.
