Foreign leaders extended sympathy to Vietnam over flooding

VOV.VN - Foreign leaders have cabled messages of sympathy to State President Tran Dai Quang over huge human and property losses caused by the recent devastating floods in Vietnam’s northern and north central provinces. 

Foreign leaders have cabled messages of sympathy to State President Tran Dai Quang over huge human and property losses caused by the recent devastating floods in Vietnam’s northern and north central provinces. 

The senders are Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Palestinian President and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Mahmoud Abbas, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 

On this occasion, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malikialso extended sympathy to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.

Continuous downpours from October 10 triggered floods and landslides in  northern and north central regions, leaving 75 people dead, 38 injured and 28 others missing.
