A trade fair opened in the central city of Vinh on August 30 to mark the 61st anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day, as well as the 76th anniversary of the Soviet - Nghe Tinh event (September 12).
The week-long Nghe An Autumn Fair 2006 has drawn the participation of nearly 50 local and foreign enterprises to display their products in 100 pavilions. These enterprises include prestigious companies such as Hanoi Textile and Garment Company, Taste & Life Sugarcane Joint venture, and Hoang Thi Loan Textile and Garment Company.
On show are various kinds of machinery, construction materials, consumer goods, household devices, kitchen equipment, and handicraft products.
Many activities are also held during the fair such as art performance, fashion show, and presentation of awards for high-quality products and attractive gifts for visitors to the fair.
