Student honoured for NSW International Student Awards
(VOV) -Ly Le Quan, a third year biomedical student at the University of Technology, was recognized on September 15 at the 2014 New South Wales (NSW) International Student Awards for Higher Education catergory in Australia.
The New South Wales International Student Awards aim to celebrate outstanding contributions of international students to communities in Australia and recognise excellence in international student community engagement.

Ly Le Quan has actively participated in community and volunteer work and acts as a City of Sydney International Student Ambassador, a UTS Community Connections Student Ambassador and Connection Director of UTS Medical Biosciences Body of Students.
She also volunteers for UNICEF Australia, Jeans for Genes, City2Surf and Activate UTS.
Australia, with more than 22,000 students, is among the foreign countries with the highest number of Vietnamese students pursuing their higher education goals at overseas universities.
