Deputy PM receives US, Australian ambassadors

At a reception for the US diplomat, Phuc and his guest briefed each other on cooperation in recent times and compared notes on measures to further strengthen cooperative relations in the time to come.

Receiving Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Hugh Borrowman, Deputy Prime Minister Phuc called for more support from Australia in agriculture, and safe water for mountain and mangrove forest regions.

Phuc expressed his hope that his government will continue to provide more scholarships for Vietnamese students and increase cooperation programs to help Vietnamese fruits to enter the Australian market.

Ambassador Borrowman said he will do his utmost to help expand bilateral ties in the future.
