A trade fair involving businesses from Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia and Thailand has opened in the Laos’ southern Champasac province.


The opening ceremony was attended by Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavath Lengsavath, representatives from the Lao Ministry of Industry and Commerce, leaders from Laos’ southern provinces, Vietnamese Consul General to Laos’ southern provinces Nguyen Dang Chat, representatives from Champasac province and businesspeople from the four countries.


The fair aims to strengthen mutual understanding and to promote cooperation in trade and investment among enterprises from the four countries.


Displayed in 298 pavilions are consumer goods, electric equipment, fine art, interior decoration, and tourism products.
