Vietnam placed 5th in Asian Volleyball Champs
(VOV) - Vietnam’s Lien Viet Post Bank was placed 5th in the final round of the Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship 2013 in Dak Lak province on May 5 after defeating its Taiwanese rival 3-0.
The champion was China’s Guangdong Evergrande Volleyball Club which will represent the Asian region in the FIVB Club World Championship to be held in Switzerland in October.
Kazakhstan ranked second, and Japan third. They were followed in order by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Iran.
