A programme featuring Japan’s Yozakura dancers will be held at the Youth Cultural House in Ho Chi Minh City on November 25.

The programme, organised by the Japanese General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, aims to expand friendship and culture exchanges between Vietnam and Japan.

Over 40 dancers from Japan’s Shizuoka province and local students from the Sakura and ACC Japanese language schools will jointly perform three well-known dances including Heisei Chakkiri Bushi, Sakura 96 and Sakura Doo-Wap.

Yozakura, or “night cherry blossom”, is a Japanese traditional dance festival held annually in Shizuoka to welcome the cherry blossom season.
