The Russian Government has decided to grant 285 more scholarships to Vietnamese students for the 2007-08 academic year, said the Ministry of Education and Training.
This number is in addition to the current 75 annual scholarships under a co-operation agreement between the two countries.
The new training programme covers a wide range of areas, including under-graduate and post-graduate studies, including military training, and Russian language courses for both students and teachers.
