FPT deepens regional integration
(VOV) - The leading information and communication technology (ICT) firm in Vietnam, FPT Information System Company, has now expanded its operations into Myanmar, augmenting its presence in the ASEAN region.
A company representative recently revealed that on January 19, the company held its first ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) seminar in Myanmar.
ERP is a business management software suite that encompasses a number of integrated applications, a company can use to collect, store, manage and interpret data from many business activities such as product planning, manufacturing, marketing and sales, and inventory management.
FPT General Director Pham Minh Tuan FPT said the company has over 15 years of successful experience providing consultancy and installing ERP projects and has implemented more than 100 projects for enterprises in the ASEAN region.
Last year, the company’s total sales were US$26.4 million for 14 projects located in the Philippines, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Singapore, Tuan said.
At the seminar in Myanmar, FPT teamed up with United Paints Group (UPG) to provide training and guidance for the ERP software along with demonstrations on the uses and benefits their clients experienced over past years.
