Attending the function, Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat congratulated the Bangladeshi people on their achievements during the past 37 years.

He stressed that the establishment of the two countries’ diplomatic ties on February 11, 1973 was an important event, opening up a new chapter for the closer friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh.

He expressed his belief that with their determination, the two governments will further develop bilateral relations in the coming time for the benefits of the two people and for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
