A Japanese-financed waterworks was put into operation in Quang Minh commune in the northern province of Bac Giang on June 25.

The Japanese government contributed more than US$80,000 to the project while the 20-percent remainder came from the province.

Also on June 25, a road connecting hamlets in Gia Loc commune of Chi Lang district in the northern border province of Lang Son was put into use.

The US$90,000 project was conducted with non-refundable aid from the Japanese Government.
