The conclusion was made at the eighth workshop on Vietnam-Russia scientific co-operation in Moscow on January 22, where participants discussed the possibility of further co-operation between the two countries’ scientist circles in certain areas, as well as cultural and social issues of mutual concern.
In his report, PhD N.G. Kuznetsov from Kaluga province’s Management and Business Institute, highlighted the considerable contributions made by the Vietnamese community in Russia in producing and supplying products for the country.
The workshop was held by the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology in Russia to mark Vietnam’s Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
The same day, the Vietnamese community in Russia also held a Tet get-together for Vietnamese nationals, and Russian and international friends.
Vietnamese and Russian scientists should co-ordinate closer to increase the efficiency of the multifaceted co-operation between the two countries.
