OVs in Europe compete in tennis tournament
(VOV) -The 15th “Golden Racket Praha 2014” tennis tournament for Overseas Vietnamese (OVs) in Europe was held at the Club Hotel Praha sport complex in Prague, the Czech Republic on August 23-24.
The tournament attracted 200 athletes and 18 clubs including 12 from the Czech Republic and 6 from Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Russia, Hungary and Vietnam.

After two-days of competition, Cao Xuan Hoang from the Ostrava Club in the Czech Republic emerged the first-place winner. Runner-up went to Dang Xuan Tung from the Leipzig Club in Germany.
Third place was shared by Pham Dac Nhan and Luong Phuong Trung from the Praha Club and Ostrava Club in the Czech Republic, respectively.
The tournament, first organized in 2000, aims to further strengthen solidarity and mutual support among OVS communities across the European Union through sport movements and competitions.
