Huge fire rips through bakery & confectionery workshop in HCM City

The company’s security forces used CO2 fire extinguishers to tackle the flame but fail to put it out . The incident was then immediately reported to the Binh Tan district’s Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department. |

More fight-fighting forces from nearby areas were dispatched to combat the fire. |

Nearly 20 fire engines and more than 100 fire fighters had been mobilized to the scene and at 20:30pm the fire was brought under control. |

The newly built 2,000sq.m workshop was not operational and its fire prevention and fighting plan was not approved yet. |

No casualties have been reported but a 200sq.m space and several facilities inside the workshop were destroyed. |
