Huge fire rips through bakery & confectionery workshop in HCM City

VOV.VN - A large fire broke out at a workshop of the Asia Bakery and Confectionery Pte. Entin An Lac ward, Binh Tan district, HCM City on April 10. 

     The fire sparked from a newly-built bakery workshop of ABC Pte. Ent at 7pm on April 10. 

The company’s security forces used CO2 fire extinguishers to tackle the flame but fail to put it out . The incident was then immediately reported to the Binh Tan district’s Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department.

More fight-fighting forces from nearby areas were dispatched to combat the fire.

Nearly 20 fire engines and more than 100 fire fighters had been mobilized to the scene and at 20:30pm the fire was brought under control.

The newly built 2,000sq.m workshop was not operational and its fire prevention and fighting plan was not approved yet.

No casualties have been reported but a 200sq.m space and several facilities inside the workshop were destroyed.
