(VOV) -A press release by the world acclaimed museum Le Arts Décoratif in Paris has unveiled that Vietnamese former tourism ambassador Ly Nha Ky is one of the organizers of a major exhibition soon to open.

The exhibition has been classified as a Work of Major Heritage Interest by the Consultative Commission on National Treasures and features of over 3,000 buttons, dating from the 18th to the 20th century.

It will also highlight a collection of more than 100 female and male garments and accessories by emblematic couturiers such as Paul Poiret, Elsa Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Patrick Kelley.

These pieces, even though small in size, are true works of art for the preciousness of the materials and techniques in which they are manufactured made by craftsmen from various disciplines.

They have attracted the worldwide interest of many artists, fascinating and inspiring them to create miniature creations for the great couture houses.

The event  will run from February 10 to July 19.
