With around 10,000 rooms currently available, Nha Trang is confident to meet the demand for the Miss Universe contest to be held in July 2008.
The central coastal city is expected to reserve nearly 4,000 top-notch rooms for the beauty queens and another 300 for VIPs coming from around the world.
In preparation for the contest, Nha Trang Wonderpark and Resort is upgrading to a high standard resort with 300 five-star rooms and a 6,000-seat multi-purpose performance centre scheduled to begin operation in April 2008.
The one-month event, including many activities in some other provinces in Vietnam, will mainly take place in Nha Trang Wonderpark and Resort.
The coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province, was announced to host the 57th annual Miss Universe Pageant at a signing ceremony between local Hoan Vu Joint Stock Company (UniCorp) and the Miss Universe Organisation on November 27.
