The 2010 energy conservation exhibition (ECON EXPO 2010) featuring energy-efficient products and renewable energies will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from November 25-28.
On display will be 300 stands from nearly 250 domestic and foreign businesses.
A number of activities will take place within the framework of the event, including seminar on funding businesses involved in energy-saving projects.
Huynh Kim Tuoc, Director of HCM City’s Energy Conservation Centre, said the 6.8 percent year-on-year increase in electricity prices in 2010 is encouraging more people and businesses to think about energy-saving measures.
The exhibition will promote the transfer of energy saving technologies and public awareness of energy-saving products.
