Rice harvesting season in Hanoi’s urban district
(VOV) -Farmers in Hanoi’s outlying district of Nam Tu Liem are busy harvesting rice at the moment, and this has created an aura of rural life in the modern capital city.
Nam Tu Liem district was founded in April 2014. It has a large area set aside for agricultural development, mostly rice cultivation.
The appearance of farmer’s agricultural production in a modern background has created a new feature for the newly-established urban district.
Farmers are drying straw on Thang Long boulevard.
Rice is being dried everywhere, outside the National Conventional Centre and nearby a five-star hotel JW Marriott.
