Vice State President Truong My Hoa has expressed thanks to Japanese surgeons and volunteers for their charitable operations since 1993 to bring smiles to numerous poor hare-lipped and cleft palate children in Vietnam.

Ms Hoa expressed her thanks while receiving Fumio Kawaguchi, President of the Japanese Hare-lip and Cleft Palate Fund and CEO of the Chubu Electric Power Co. Inc., in Hanoi on April 5.

She pledged to create the best conditions for the Fund to develop its operations in Vietnam and expressed hope that more disadvantaged children will benefit from its assistance.
