The Hanoian women’s team beat Thanh Hoa 21-13 in the regu final at the on-going National Beach Sepak Takraw Championship in Nghe An province.
Hanoi’s sepak takraw (rattan ball kicking) team will hope to add to their success in the trio and team events at Cua Lo beach on May 6.
In the men’s regu, HCM City won the gold medal.
The tournament, which has been organized by the Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation of the second time, is a warm up for Vietnamese players competing in the second Asian Beach Games in Muscat, Oman, later this year.
