"The Festive Day in my Homeland” culinary festival was held in Ho Chi Minh City on February 20.

Visitors to the festival got a chance to taste more than 100 special dishes from the northern, central and southern regions of the country.

They also enjoyed folk art performances, such as cheo, tuong, royal court music, Khmer music, Cham dances, Paranung music and Cong Chieng (gongs) of the Central Highlands.

During the festival, local craft villages also introduced their handicraft products, including mats, nets, ceramics, brocades and griddle cakes.

An exhibition on folk paintings was also held, offering the opportunity for children to make folk toys.
