The Yale University of the US has published a book entitled “Vietnam – A Natural History” describing Vietnam’s biological diversity, including rare and unique organisms and an unusual mixture of tropical and temperate species.
Illustrated with maps and photographs, the book also provides an in-depth analysis of elements shaping the evolution, distribution and conservation of these species in Vietnam.
The more-than-400-page book was the result of co-operation between the Vietnam National Institute of Ecology and Biodiversity Resources, the American Museum of Natural History and other Vietnamese universities.
