The fourth international camp for sculpture creation concluded on June 6 after one month of creation on the sidelines of the Hue Festival.

Twenty-six sculptors from nine countries gathered at the Hill Recreation Centre of Thien An-Thuy Tien in central Thua Thien-Hue province from May 3 for the camp entitled "Hue-Vietnam Impression 2006."

Vietnamese and foreign sculptors created 25 valuable sculptures for the ancient city of Hue, including 20 works of art sculpted in marble.

Together with more than ninety works by artists in previous sculpture camps, the collection has livened up parks along the city's well-known Huong (Perfume) River.

The event was held by the Thua Thien-Hue provincial People's Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Information.
