Cambodia arrests suspects in Phnom Penh blast

Five suspects have been arrested in connection to a grenade attack that injured four people in Phnom Penh on September 6.

Cambodia’s Interior Ministry spokesman Khieu Sopheak said on September 21 that the arrested suspects were accused of being involved in the blast. Images from a security camera showed that one of the two suspects riding a motorbike threw a grenade to the street when a car was approaching.


According to Sopheak, the five suspects are being quested at police station. The four injuries in the blast include two Cambodians, one Indian and one Vietnamese.
