RUSAL, the world largest aluminum company, will open its representative office in Vietnam to explore the country’s great reserves of energy and bauxite as well as implementing a series of projects in the fields of energy and metallurgy.
The Russian firm will also help Vietnam establish a synchronous production cycle that includes both bauxite exploitation and pure aluminum and alloy production.
RUSAL exports its products to 70 countries and enjoys a world market share of 12.5 percent. It has set up representative offices in 17 countries over the world so far.
