A flock of hundreds of white dolphins has recently been seen three nautical miles east of Hon Dau island in the Do Son sea area, said the Department for Marine Resource Preservation of northern Hai Phong port city.

Many fishermen said that the dolphins are a good omen for the New Year, while environmental agencies affirmed that dolphins are extremely sensitive to habitat changes and only live in clean waters.
