Vietnam 's largest and most modern Nano technology lab was officially inaugurated at the Ho Chi Minh City National University on December 18.


The lab was built at a cost of US$4.5 million, according to the country's leading physics researcher, Pro. Nguyen Van Hieu.


The lab will conduct research on Micro Nano-based technology and materials, provide services for research on Micro Nano-based materials, and train scientists in the field.


The lab has so far set up cooperation with 13 universities, institutes and research centres of the US, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Republic of Korea and Singapore.
