Suphu Academy, a Vietnamese traditional martial art academy and medical centre opened in Linkoping, Sweden.

Besides training martial arts and providing medical treatment, the centre will hold courses on Vietnamese language, history and gastronomy.

The centre was founded by martial art master Duong Truong Tho, an overseas Vietnamese in Sweden, to promote Vietnamese traditional culture to the Swedish public.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Sweden Trinh Quang Thanh was among those present at the opening ceremony.
