Work began on a twin-tower, US$80 million five-star hotel in Hanoi on June 30.
The hotel, to be operated by the Charmvit group from the Republic of Korea, is located close to the National Convention Centre and a number of new residential developments.
It will include two 27-storey twin towers with a total floor space of over 150,000 sq.m, housing a conference hall, shops, a swimming pool and restaurants from the first to fourth floors.
The hotel will occupy the fifth to 27th floors and be home to 630 rooms and a complex of offices for lease.
The project, one of four five-star hotels to be built in Hanoi this year, is expected to be completed by July 2009.
