Wachovia, a US financial and banking company, has opened its second representative office in Hanoi, after three years of operation in Ho Chi Minh City.

Since 2003, the firm has been active in Vietnam’s burgeoning market, according to its executive manager Chuck Silverman.

Wachovia, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a major financial group with 40 overseas offices and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
