A convoy of US-Cuba friendship caravans run by Pastors for Peace arrived in capital Havana on July 23, bringing material aid to Cuban people.

Pastor Jose Marti, who led the convoy, told reporters that the transhipment includes vehicles, medical equipment, medicines, and school aid for Cuban children.

The 85-member delegation criticised the US for unilaterally imposing the economic embargo against Cuba.

Departing on June 3, the convoy travelled across 130 cities of the US, Canada and Mexico and raised donations for Cuba, showing their solidarity with the people in this Caribbean nation.

During stay in Cuba, they will attend celebrations marking the 57th anniversary of the Moncada barrack attack to take place in Santa Clara city.

Since 1998, Pastor for Peace has run convoys of friendship caravans across Canada, the US, and Mexico and received support from the people of these countries.
