Vietnamese firms to promote tourism at ITB Berlin 2027
VOV.VN - Vietnamese tourism businesses will showcase tourism products and services at ITB Berlin 2027 in Germany from March 16–18, seeking international partnerships and opportunities to promote Vietnam as a destination and expand sustainable business.
The Vietnam Pavilion which is expected to cover 500 square metres, will showcase the country’s destinations, policies and tourism products, while also promoting APEC Year 2027 when it plays host to the event.
A range of promotional and networking activities will take place during the fair, including press conferences, business networking events, happy hours and Vietnamese culinary showcases. These activities aim to foster direct connections between Vietnamese localities and businesses and international tourism corporations, travel agencies, airlines, distribution platforms and media outlets.
The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism considers Vietnam’s participation in ITB Berlin 2027 a key initiative to maintain and enhance the profile of the Vietnam tourism brand at one of the world’s most influential tourism trade events. It also offers businesses and localities opportunities to find partners and integrate Vietnamese tourism products into distribution networks across Europe and other international markets.
Beyond market expansion, promotional activities at ITB Berlin aim to attract high-spending visitors who stay longer. The strategy is also intended to diversify tourist source markets and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism industry.
Held since 1966, ITB Berlin is known as the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show, bringing together the global tourism ecosystem and connecting destinations, businesses, service providers and industry professionals.
The trade show also comprises specialised segments such as adventure travel, business travel, luxury travel, medical tourism, and travel technology. Running alongside the exhibition is the ITB Berlin Convention which focuses on the trends and innovations shaping the future of the tourism industry.
The theme for ITB Berlin 2027 is Travel & Tourism in Motion, highlighting the tourism industry's continuous evolution and the changes unfolding in the global market.
