Vietnam’s tourism ambassador Ly Nha Ky has left for Taiwan, China, to advertise the national culture and call for foreign investment into the country.

The movie star took part in an arts performance bringing together many businessmen and scholars in Taiwan to share experience in cultural and art development.

During the visit, Ky met with billionaire Soofeen Hu, who is both a successful businessman and a famous craftsman in China. Soofeen Hu founded a museum of artwork made from sapphire in August 2009.

Ky said the visit is an opportunity for her to introduce Vietnam’s culture, tourism, people and landscape.

Many leaders and businessmen from Taiwan expressed their hopes to cooperate with and invest in Vietnam in the fields of culture and tourism in the coming time, Ky noted.
