Korea Travel Festa 2025 set to launch in Ho Chi Minh City this June
VOV.VN - The Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) is set to bring the Korea Travel Festa 2025, its largest Business-to-Consumer (B2C) tourism event of the year, to Ho Chi Minh City on June 21 - 22, aiming to popularise Korean tourism among Vietnamese travelers.

The event is expected to draw thousands of visitors as it promises a lively and immersive experience, featuring a wide range of booths from both Vietnamese and Korean companies, as well as live performances by popular V-pop and K-pop artists.
This information was unveiled by Park Eun Jung, head of KTO in Vietnam, at the Korea Travel Mart 2025 held in Hanoi on May 15.
In addition to the June festival, KTO will also take part in the International Travel Expo (ITE) 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled for September 4 - 6.
Park said, a variety of tourism-related activities are planned to help Vietnamese tourists explore Korean culture and experiences, while also reinforcing KTO’s ongoing commitment to supporting local partners in Vietnam. This includes improving the quality of tours and diversifying tourism offerings to make trips to Korea more exciting and memorable.
Ha Van Sieu, deputy director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, noted that after the COVID-19 pandemic, the Republic of Korea (RoK) has emerged as Vietnam’s largest tourist market. In 2024, the two countries achieved a record level of tourism exchange, with over 5.1 million travellers moving between Vietnam and Korea.
The potential for tourism development between the two countries remains huge, with flag carriers planning to open more direct routes connecting tourist cities and businesses continuously launching new and attractive products, Sieu added.
KTO statistics show the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism segment is also thriving. In 2024, nearly 54,000 Vietnamese MICE tourists visited the RoK, an increase of 32.2% compared to 2023. This places Vietnam second in Southeast Asia for MICE tourism to Korea, following the Philippines.
In the first four months of the year, the RoK welcomed 183,000 Vietnamese tourists, representing an annual rise of 12.4%.
