A representative from Huong Giang Travel Company said that foreign tours were fully booked two months ago. Three favourite destinations for local visitors during the Tet holiday are Singapore, the Republic of Korea and Turkey. Of the destinations, Turkey is well-known for its beautiful scenery and high-quality tourism services.

According to a survey, one reason is that airlines have issued a limited number of tickets while many people like to travel to different places abroad.

The price of tours increased by 10-20 percent compared to last year and most visitors wished to go to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.

Only a few visitors selected expensive tours to Europe and America.
