The VFF chapters in provinces and cities will also hold similar meetings on April 15 to finalise an official list of NA candidates for provinces and centrally-run cities.

After the second consultative conference, 1,086 candidates, including 183 at the central level and 903 at grassroots level were nominated for the 13^th NA election.

According to preliminary statistics, 3,832 candidates have been selected from 63 provinces and centrally-run cities for the People’s Council election at all levels for the 2011-2016 term. 20,785 candidates have been nominated at the district level and 273,433 candidates at the communal level.

The VFF Central Committee has asked its local chapters to strictly implement regulations to ensure that the third consultative conference will take place in a lawful, democratic and open manner.
