The death toll from heavy flooding nationwide since October 10 has risen to 140, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported on November 5.
In the North, Northeast, Central, and East, the death toll was 110, and of these 107 were Thais and the other three were from Cambodia, Burma, and the Netherlands.
In the South, 30 people died from flooding from November 1-4.
