VOV.VN - Vu Quang National Park in central Ha Tinh province has collaborated with the Centre for Rescue, Conservation and Creature Development under Cuc Phuong National Park and the wildlife NGO Save Vietnam’s Wildlife (SVW) to return 58 masked palm civets to their natural habitat.
Ten Owston’s palm civets were born at the Cuc Phuong National Park in the north of Vietnam under a captive breeding programme jointly implemented by the park and Save Vietnam’s Wildlife (SVW), the SVW said on June 18.
The Wildlife Rescue Centre at the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the central province of Quang Binh on May 23 said that it has released 17 rescued rare animals back to the wild.
