A suicide car bomb blast targeting foreign troop's convoy in Afghan capital Kabul on November 12 left the attacker dead and injured an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier, police chief of Kabul said.
"It was a suicide car bomb attack that left the attacker dead and injured an ANA soldier on Darulaman road", Mohammad Ayoub Salangi, police chief of Kabul told reporters near the site of the blast.
Earlier, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed that a car bomb went off near its military camp in the Afghan capital Kabul.
According to initial reports, the car bomb exploded close to a passing ISAF convoy.
