State President Tran Duc Luong has decided to grant gifts to families of social policy beneficiaries during the upcoming traditional Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

Under the decision signed on January 6, beneficiaries who receive gifts worth VND100,000 and VND200,000 each are those who joined revolutionary activities before the August 1945 Revolution and now enjoy monthly allowances; relatives of war martyrs; heroic Vietnamese mothers; heroes of armed forces; labour heroes; and war invalids.
