Vietnamese People’s Association in RoK holds first sports event

The first sports event of the Vietnamese People’s Association in the Republic of Korea was held at Osan city’s stadium on May 6.

Through the event, the organising board hoped that the Vietnamese community will get closer and continue supporting each other in the host country.

The event was expected to help local authorities and people understand more about the solidarity and friendship of Vietnamese people.

According to the association, there are about 170,000 Vietnamese people living and working in the country. The number is forecast to increase sharply in the time ahead.

Over the past years, the association has organised a lot of social, cultural and sport activities to connect the community.
