Vietnamese makes finalist at Thai PTT - ITF Junior Grade 5

Nguyen Van Phuong of Vietnam qualified for the final of the PTT - ITF Junior Grade 5 tennis tournament in Thailand on June 16.

The No 13 seed won 7-6, 6-3 over No 6 Kasidit Samrej of the hosts in the boys’ singles.

He was scheduled to face No 1 Akanit Pumjit, also from Thailand, in the gold medal match on June 17.
Pumjit earlier defeated his compatriot Yuttana Charoenphon 6-3, 6-4.

The girls’ final will see a match between No 1 Salsa Aher of India and Natasha Sengphrachanh from Canada.
