Vietnamese karatekas win 22 golds at regional championship
Vietnam ended the Southeast Asian Karate Federation Championships with 22 gold medals and was ranked second behind hosts Indonesia in the medal tally.

The sixth championships were held in held in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, from May 1 to May 5.
Nearly 200 athletes from eight countries took part in the tournament.
Vietnam sent the national team and some young athletes from Hanoi, the Army and Binh Duong karate clubs.
