Vietnamese Hungarian athlete competes in 17th FINA World Championships

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Hungarian athlete My Lan will compete in synchronised swimming at the 17th FINA World Championships scheduled for July 14 in Budapest, Hungary. 

The 18 year-old athlete from the national synchronized swimming team of Hungary had participated in the FINA World Junior Synchronized Swimming Championships 2016 in Russia.

My Lan and the Hungarian team will compete with the world’s most outstanding athletes in synchronized swimming on July 19.

Top Vietnamese swimmers, Anh Vien and Hoang Quy Phuoc will also participate in the tourney.

The event will run through July 30 with the attendance of 2,500 athletes from different nations around the globe.

The Hungarian Government expects to invest over US$12 million in the opening ceremony, which will involve performances of 510 famous artists, music bands in the world and firework displays.
