Vietnamese badminton players move up in world rankings

VOV.VN -Top Vietnamese badminton players have made a big leap in the latest rankings of the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

Accordingly, badminton star Nguyen Tien Minh jumped 4 notches to the 39th position while his wife Vu Thi Trang also climbed 2 places to the 36th places.

Notably, No.1 seed Nguyen Thuy Linh made an 8-place leap to the 85th position in the rankings.

In double’s event, Do Tuan Duc-Pham Hong Nam moved up 6 notches to the 77th place while Nguyen Thi Sen-Vu Thi Trang also rose 3 steps to the 56th position.

Do Tuan Duc-Pham Nhu Thao jumped to a new career-high 41th in the world rankings, up 4 places over last week.
